Jacob Lehrer
I am Jacob Lehrer, an Architecture Alumni of Wentworth Institute of Technology; I am now the Program/Project Coordinator of the MIT Mathematics Department. I have been fascinated by engineering and design my entire life. On this website, you can see some old projects from years past as well as what I am working on now. I grew up just outside Boston- my lifelong home- and can't wait to start transforming the skyline. I have focused on sustainability throughout my life, as my first job in college was in a sustainability consultant role. I passed the LEED Green Associate exam in June 2019, the LEED AP BD+C in June 2021, the LEED AP O+M in July 2022, and the LEED AP ND in April 2023 at 21, becoming the youngest person to earn these credentials. These experiences helped inform my designs and thoughts about how buildings should be constructed.
I have spent time and energy developing different skills, as having a variety of abilities is vital. I have made an entire tab dedicated to these projects, such as photography, furniture-making, and my explorations in other mediums like painting and clothing.
I hope we, as a species, can move forward in a more positive and sustainable direction. I am excited to try and help make that vision a reality.
